KENINGAU: Assistant Minister of Rural Development, Samad Jambri, said Village Development and Security Committee (JPKK), which is a mini Wakil Rakyat at village-level, plays an important role to convey village problems to the government.

In this regard, he hoped the government will upgrade the JPKK organisational structure.

“We understand that after the Covid-19 pandemic, many changes have taken place in administering and managing in the JPKK respective villages,” he said while closing the JPKK Management and Administration Course series 2 for the Bingkor and Liawan constituencies at the Perkasa hotel here.
