“Sabah’s government has made its intentions clear, to see forestry once again be one of the major contributors to Sabah’s Gross Domestic Product. It’s Action Plan on Forest Plantation Development 2022-2026 outlines ambitious planting, log production and employment targets.

“Understanding the connectivity of the forest resource, market directions, and processing options come together to add value to the forest industry,” BFC said in a statement.
