Kota Kinabalu: A group of divers are trying to establish whether a shipwreck located at Pulau Balambangan is that of British vessel General Baird that sank following a fire in 1803.
Local photographer Louis Pung, in his social media platforms, said the spot is about 50 minutes by boat from Kudat.

He said there are several large holes on the hull, indicating significant damage.
