According to the Department, the investigation will include a review of documentation, standard operating procedures, related records and interviews with personnel involved in the process.

To assist the investigation, the department advised the owner to promptly submit the cat’s carcass to the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory in Kepayan for a post-mortem examination to establish the cause of death.

Cosmobeauté Malaysia and beautyexpo will expand into East Malaysia with the launch of the Cosmobeauté Malaysia Borneo Festival 2026 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) from May 25 to 26.
The Department said immediate submission is important as autolysis, or decomposition of the carcass, could affect the accuracy of the diagnosis.
