KUNAK: A baby crocodile measuring approximately one metre in length was captured by members of the Civil Defence Force (APM) at the water village settlement of Kg Kunak Jaya Laut, here, on Thursday.

In a statement posted on its official Facebook page, the agency’s District Operations Control Centre (PKOD) said it received an emergency call from a villager regarding the presence of a baby crocodile in the settlement.

The one-metre-long crocodile was successfully captured and tied up before being handed over to the Wildlife Department (JHL) for further action.
