TAWAU: A local in his 30s (pic) was detained on suspicion of peeping at a woman in the bathroom at PPR Taman Sri Bukit Tawau, Gudang 4, on Thursday.

Tawau District Police Chief ACP Jasmin Hussin said the victim immediately lodged a report.

“The suspect was tracked down through checks on Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) footage in the victim’s residential area,” he said in a statement on Friday.

Police also seized a shirt and a pair of trousers believed to have been worn by the suspect during the act.
