Kota Kinabalu: A 23-year-old mechanic was charged with raping an underaged girl.
Lee Jun pleaded not guilty before Sessions Court Judge Monica Linsua, after the charge was read to him.

Lee is accused of raping the 13-year and six-month-old girl between 4.30am and 6am on Feb 8 this year at a homestay, here.
The offence under Section 376(2)(d) of the Penal Code carries a jail term of between ten and 30 years, and whipping, on conviction.
The court set June 5 this year for pre-trial case management and offered RM5,000 bail in two local sureties to Lee pending the disposal of his case.
Lee was also ordered to report to the nearest police, warned not tampering with the prosecution’s witnesses and his passport if any, to be kept by the court.
The court heard that Lee and the alleged victim were known each other.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Nurul Shafeerah Mad Iskim appeared for the prosecution while counsel Lim Ming Zoong @ Lawrence represented Lee.
