BELURAN: A man was seriously injured while several others sustained injuries in a three-vehicle accident at Kampung Jaya Bakti here on Monday morning.
The accident, which occurred at about 7.01am, involved two Perodua Bezza cars and a Proton vehicle, affecting a total of 10 individuals.

Beluran Fire and Rescue Station chief Senior Fire Superintendent Edoen Macheal said the department received an emergency call through the 999 line before dispatching six personnel to the scene located about 25 kilometres from the station.
“Upon arrival, it was found that the accident involved three vehicles, with several victims sustaining injuries.
“The red Perodua Bezza was carrying three adult women, all of whom were injured, while the blue Perodua Bezza had six occupants comprising two adult men, two adult women and two children,” he said in a statement.
He added that one adult male in the blue Bezza suffered serious injuries, while another male and two adult women sustained minor injuries.
“The two children, a boy and a girl, were unharmed, while the Proton driver, an adult male, was also reported safe without injuries,” he said.
According to him, firefighters secured the scene and provided initial assistance to the victims before handing them over to the Ministry of Health for further treatment and further action.
“The operation was concluded at 8.33am after ensuring no further hazards at the scene,” he said.
