KOTA KINABALU: A man was detained by members of the public near the Central Market after he was suspected of molesting a female South Korean tourist, in an incident that has gone viral on social media, Info X reported.

The suspect was believed to have committed the act earlier before being chased by the public from the Todak Roundabout area to the market.

He was subsequently apprehended at the scene as videos of the incident circulated online.
