Kota Kinabalu: Sabah youth leaders and activists criticised the Federal Government’s handling of the 40 per cent entitlement ahead of the March 31 hearing on its stay application.
They called for “clarity, sincerity and full compliance with the Federal Constitution”, warning against continued delays.
“The High Court has already recognised a constitutional obligation. The question now is whether it will be honoured,” they said.
The representatives from Upko, Warisan and SAPP, alongside civil society groups, gathered at a townhall on Sunday to call for constitutional compliance and a clear resolution on Sabah’s 40 per cent entitlement.
