KKCCCI President Datuk Michael Lui said the initiative comes amid increasing cases of online fraud, hacking and cybercrime affecting individuals and businesses across different age groups.
“In this digital age, protecting personal data and digital identity is very important. We need to enhance security awareness, strengthen technical protection and properly manage data to prevent threats such as online fraud and hacking,” he said in a statement, on Saturday.
The seminar will be conducted by cyber security consultant CK Teh, who has over 20 years of experience in the public sector, oil and gas industry, corporate sector and banking.
According to KKCCCI, the programme will be divided into morning and afternoon sessions.
The morning session will focus on identifying scammers in Malaysia, common scam types and methods to avoid falling victim, while the afternoon session will cover cyber attacks, perpetrators and preventive measures.
The seminar will also incorporate artificial intelligence (AI) technology to demonstrate AI-generated fraud techniques, alongside videos, practical tutorials and real-world case studies.
