SOP on Covid at Sandakan hospital

SANDAKAN: All visitors, patients, caregivers and Duchess of Queen Hospital (HDOK) staff must follow the standard operating procedure (SOP) to control the spread of Covid-19.

Hospital Director Dr Fahmie Othman said everyone must wear face masks in all treatment and waiting areas.

“The number of visitors is also limited to one non-symptomatic visitor at one time for each patient.

“The permission to take care of patients depends on the needs and consent of the specialists.

“Caregivers need to do a Covid-19 self-test and repeat the test after three days,” he said.
