SIPITANG: The Sipitang Farmers Association always facilitates members to explore the field of agriculture and plantation such as fertigation of vegetable crops, Saba bananas, MD2 pineapples and stingless bee honey, among others.
Its Chairman, Abd Rahman Matnuh, said this while conducting a survey to one of the members who is cultivating hydroponic vegetables here on Thursday.

He explained the method used is a “two in one” where waste products from a tilapia pond will be used as fertilizer and nutrients for the vegetables.
“I suggest that the association conduct a pilot project related to agriculture or plantation” he said.
