SIPITANG: The Sabah Lundayeh Association (Pelsa) organised the 2023 “Jom Semarakkan Budaya Lundayeh” carnival (KJSBL) for the first time here, aimed at uplifting and preserving the Lundayeh culture.

Pelsa President Daring Laban said the programme also aimed to foster appreciation for the Lundayeh culture especially among the younger generation.

He expressed gratitude to the Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry for funding the programme and hoped that it could be turned into an annual event and included in tourism books.
