NABAWAN: A total of 1,000 houses under the People Housing Project (PPRT), including house repairs in the State, have been allocated by the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW) to Sabah Land Development Board (SLDB) as the implementer.
According to SLDB Chairman Datuk Abdul Ghani Mohamed Yassin, of the total, 247 PPRT houses and house repairs have been implemented so far for the West Coast region covering Nabawan, Keningau, Tenom, Kota Marudu, Tongod, Ranau, Beaufort and Sipitang.

He said PPRT Project is a “Touch Point” or ‘Sentuhan Kasih’ to settlers and participants who live in SLDB schemes.
“Thus far for West Coast region, more than 500 PPRT houses have been offered to SLDB to be implemented,” he said.
