KUDAT: Five people were injured in a road accident involving five vehicles at Jalan Kampung Kandawayon here late Sunday.

 

Kudat Fire and Rescue Station chief Darikson Galanang said the crash involved a Perodua Axia, a Proton, a Toyota Revo and two Perodua Myvi cars.

 

Three victims travelling in the Axia, comprising two men aged 24 and 33 and a 49-year-old woman, sustained injuries.

 

Two other injured victims, aged 24 and 26, were the driver and passenger of a grey Myvi.

 

The drivers of the Toyota Revo, Proton and blue Myvi escaped unhurt.

 

All five injured victims were taken to hospital for treatment, while the operation concluded at 2.20am.
