PUTRAJAYA: Nine Master of Education (Curriculum and Teaching) students from Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), accompanied by a lecturer, participated in an Academic Benchmarking Programme held in Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya from May 18 to 22.
The programme was organised by postgraduate students from the Faculty of Education and Sports Studies, UMS, as part of the TK60204 Advanced Teaching Theory and Design course under the supervision of Professor Dr Sabariah Sharif.
Throughout the five-day programme, participants conducted academic visits to several key educational institutions and agencies, including the Educational Resources and Technology Division (BSTP), Curriculum Development Division (BPK), Federal Territory Education Department Putrajaya (JPWPP), Ministry of Higher Education (KPT), Sekolah Kebangsaan Sungai Penchala and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Putrajaya Presint 8(1).
The programme aimed to provide direct exposure to curriculum development, educational technology, and teaching and learning practices within the national education system.
