Ranau District Police Chief, Supt. Mursalin bin Mahmud said the victim lodged a report.

The victim, a palm oil weigher from Ranau, was buying kitchen items when he bumped into the suspect, who scolded him for no reason.

The suspect then produced golden-coloured brass knuckles.

After issuing a death threat, the suspect put the brass knuckles back in his trouser pocket. He then punched and kicked the victim repeatedly.
