Kuala Lumpur: A Sikh family’s final farewell to their adopted Chinese family member after more than 80 years together has touched many Malaysians online.

According to reports by Guang Ming Daily and Oriental Daily, the deceased Chinese man, known as Ah Cheng, had been adopted and raised by a Sikh family since infancy.

The reports stated that the man was cared for by the family throughout his life and remained closely connected to them into old age.

Photos shared online showed Sikh family members accompanying funeral arrangements and paying their last respects during the final send-off.
