Three enforcement assistants detained over alleged RM10,000 bribery scheme
Kota Kinabalu: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has detained three state enforcement assistants suspected of soliciting and receiving about RM10,000 in bribes in exchange for not taking action against lorries belonging to a hardware and transport company for various traffic offences.

Sabah MACC director Datuk Mohd Fuad Bee Basrah said the three male suspects, aged in their 30s, were arrested between 4pm and 7pm yesterday when they turned up to provide statements at the Sabah MACC office.
