Kota Kinabalu: Eight people, including two children, were injured in a three-vehicle collision along Jalan UMS near Kampung Delima Sulaman, here, on Saturday evening.
The Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call regarding the accident at 5.29pm via the MERS999 line.

A total of 11 firefighters from the Kota Kinabalu Fire and Rescue Station were deployed to the scene, located about 20 kilometres away, arriving at 5.50pm.
Operations Commander PBK I Masri Gari said the crash involved a Toyota Fortuner, Proton Saga and Proton Exora.
All eight victims sustained injuries in the accident.
The victims comprised a male driver of the Toyota Fortuner, a male driver of the Proton Saga, and six occupants of the Proton Exora, namely one man, three women and two children.
Firefighters extricated the victims before Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) personnel and Health Ministry medical teams provided initial treatment at the scene.
All victims were later transported to hospital for further treatment using EMRS, Health Ministry and Civil Defence Force ambulances.
The operation ended at 6.53pm after firefighters confirmed the area was safe.
