Van driver hurt in Ranau three-way collision
RANAU: A van driver was seriously injured after the vehicle he was driving involved in a head on collision with a trailer lorry near here on Thursday evening.

The 51-year-old male victim was trapped in the driver's compartment of the van and had to be extricated by the Fire and Rescue personnel using special equipment.

The accident involving three vehicles occurred on Jalan Ranau - Telupid near Kampung Tanah Merah, Ranau, at 5 pm.

Ranau Fire and Rescue Department Chief, Rantey Fred said that after being successfully extricated, the victim was handed over to the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM) team and sent to the Ranau Hospital for further treatment.
