KOTA KINABALU: Internet coverage in populated areas of Sabah has reached 98.71 per cent, up from 73.41 per cent before the Jendela initiative.
State Minister Datuk James Ratib said 663 new towers have been built, 5,304 stations upgraded, and over 335,000 premises now have fibre access, with satellite services covering remote areas.
He said the effort aims to narrow the digital gap and ensure better internet access in rural communities.
