THE mother of twin baby boys, Razma Ismail, 33, who is among the victims of the Kampung Bahagia fire, expressed gratitude for the visit by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, along with Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor and others, to the Temporary Relief Centre (PPS) at PPR Taman Batu Sapi on Wednesday.
The mother of four said the assistance provided has helped her and her husband, who is self-employed, as well as their three school-going children aged 13, 10 and one attending Tadika Kemas Kampung Bahagia.
“I am deeply touched that he (the Prime Minister) came personally to visit us, the fire victims who have been greatly affected by this incident,” she said.
She also expressed hope for a place to stay once the temporary relief centre is closed.
Recounting the day of the incident, she said one of her twin babies cried and could not sleep, which woke them all up, allowing them to escape to safety with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
Her twin babies were just 22 days old on Wednesday.
