The 70-year-old actor-filmmaker shares the detached Cumberland Road home with his Singaporean wife, Jasmine Tan, in a neighbourhood long associated with the city’s rich and famous.
STHeadline reported that the street also once housed martial arts legend Bruce Lee, adding to its enduring allure.
According to HK01, Chow, fondly known as “Fat Gor”, bought the property for about HK$14.7 million in the 1990s and its value has since risen nearly 15-fold to an estimated peak of HK$200 million.
Beyond Kowloon, he owns properties at The Peak, Sai Kung and Mong Kok, contributing to an estimated net worth exceeding HK$1 billion.
His three-bedroom residence at The Peak, acquired in 2010 for HK$128 million, set a then record price per square foot and offers 2,547 sq ft of living space, a 2,000 sq ft garden and a 700 sq ft rooftop overlooking the sea.
