Jamawi urges JPS staff to maintain service excellence

Kota Kinabalu: State Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industry Minister Datuk Jamawi Jaafar has urged staff of the Department of Irrigation and Drainage (JPS) Sabah to maintain excellence in public service delivery.

He said commitment, dedication and strong teamwork are key to ensuring services remain efficient, effective and of high quality.

He stressed the importance of officers going to the ground to better understand issues faced by farmers, particularly in irrigation projects such as in Trusan Sapi, Telupid and Kota Belud.

A total of 34 recipients received the Excellent Service Awards while 25 retirees were honoured at the event, which he described as a platform to recognise contributions and motivate continued performance improvement.
