Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Law Society noted that the Court of Appeal has concluded hearing the Federal Government’s application for a stay of execution in relation to the Sabah 40 per cent matter.
The panel has fixed April 6, 2026 for the delivery of its decision.
The application concerns whether the High Court’s orders, including timelines set by the court, are to remain in force pending the disposal of the appeal.
“The Sabah Law Society notes that the Court of Appeal has today concluded hearing the Federal Government’s application for a stay of execution in relation to the Sabah 40 per cent matter,” said its president Mohamed Nazim Maduarin
