BIGSABAH Sale 2025 eyes 50,000 visitors

Kota Kinabalu: The much-anticipated BIGSABAH Sale 2025 will make a comeback on a bigger scale than ever before, featuring more than 600 exhibitors over 23,000 square metres and targeting over 50,000 visitors, including international participants from nine countries.

Organised by the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), the three-day event will run from Oct 31 to Nov 2 with the theme “Across Markets, Beyond Borders”, aimed at positioning Sabah as a key international hub in the East Asean region.

Organising Chairperson and SICC Chief Executive Officer Datuk Rosmawati Lasuki described the fair as the largest event ever to be hosted at the centre.

“BIGSABAH Sale has become more than just a fair – it is a space where learning, sharing, and connecting happen together.

Cosmobeauté Malaysia and beautyexpo will expand into East Malaysia with the launch of the Cosmobeauté Malaysia Borneo Festival 2026 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) from May 25 to 26.
“At SICC, we believe in creating experiences that are alive, vibrant and inclusive, and the BIGSABAH Sale reflects that very philosophy,” she said at a press conference, here.

Rosmawati said every corner of the venue will be brought to life with exhibitions, culinary experiences, cultural showcases, and community programmes. She also highlighted the inclusion of the “Sabah Day Tamu”, now rebranded as BIGSABAH Tamu, as a key feature of this year’s edition.

The highlights:

1. BIGSABAH Sale – Gourmet, Décor & Home Living, Fashion & Lifestyle

Two exhibition floors will be transformed into bustling marketplaces.

Level 2 will showcase gourmet delights, kitchen innovations, décor, home essentials and interior solutions.

Level 4 will highlight fashion and lifestyle, with apparel, accessories, beauty and lifestyle products from local designers, retailers and international brands.

2. BIGSABAH Trade Connect

A dedicated business-matching platform linking SMEs with buyers, distributors, importers and retailers through structured B2B meetings and networking opportunities.

The initiative aims to foster cross-border partnerships and strengthen Sabah’s role in Asean business connectivity.

3. BIGSABAH Tamu

Inspired by traditional markets, the Tamu will feature rural entrepreneurs, farmers, artisans and small traders offering local produce, handicrafts and delicacies. It serves as a bridge between grassroots entrepreneurs and wider consumer markets while preserving cultural heritage.

4. Pesta Makan Buah-Buahan Sabah

In collaboration with the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (Fama), this festival will celebrate Sabah’s fruit diversity, featuring seasonal favourites and rare indigenous varieties in a lively “fruit feast” atmosphere.

5. Sabah Agro-Fisheries Forum

A professional forum uniting agriculture and fisheries stakeholders from across Sabah, Malaysia and Asean. The platform will address challenges, opportunities and innovations in agro-fisheries, with emphasis on sustainability and food security.

6. Women in Business & Style

This segment will celebrate women entrepreneurs and professionals through exhibitions, fashion showcases and dialogue sessions. It aims to inspire and empower women while highlighting their contributions to retail, fashion, beauty and services.

BIGSABAH Sale 2025 is made possible through the strong support of government, industry, and corporate partners. The event is organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment Sabah and the Kota Kinabalu Municipal Hall, alongside the commitment of corporate sponsors.
