Kota Kinabalu: Preparations for the 10th Sabah Games (Saga) opening ceremony are going smoothly.
Assistant Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Fairuz Renddan said everyone involved cooperated throughout the preparations.

“So far, preparations for the opening ceremony have almost reached 100 per cent.
“All the agencies involved such as the Sabah Youth and Sports Ministry (KBSS), the Sabah Sports Council and others have given good commitment to ensure that the preparations run smoothly.
“The contingents also showed strong enthusiasm ahead of the opening ceremony that will take place this Saturday.
“Therefore, I invite the people in and around Kota Kinabalu to attend the opening ceremony that will take place at the Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) Sports Complex,” he said when met by the media at the opening ceremony’s rehearsal session Thursday.

He also suggested that all citizens, including the Saga X athletes, continue to be careful and practice self-care following the increasing number of Covid-19 cases.
Also at the rehearsal was KBSS Permanent Secretary Datuk Mansur Asun.
