Cops probing PAS man over ‘go to hell’ remark
Sik PAS Youth chief Shahiful Nasir had apologised over his remarks made in a ceramah, admitting his mistake and that his statement had offended many.
PETALING JAYA: Police have initiated an investigation into a PAS leader’s remark that voters would “go to hell” if they voted for Barisan Nasional or Pakatan Harapan instead of Perikatan Nasional in the general election.

According to China Press, the matter is being probed under Section 504 of the Penal Code which involves intentional insult to cause provocation and disrupt public peace.

Bukit Aman’s GE15 operations director Hazani Ghazali said no one has been arrested so far.

He added that the cops have opened 15 new investigation papers to probe allegations of election offences on the election campaign trail. There are a total of 120 probes ongoing.
