Kota Kinabalu: Some 1,000 riders took part in the 1Malaysia Custom Department Charity Ride programme held in conjunction with the 35th World Custom Day at the Merdeka Padang, Saturday.Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Tawfiq Abu Bakar Titingan, who officiated the programme, praised the organiser for their efforts in organising sports activities which will benefit youth and sports development in the country."Cycling in this occasion will foster cooperation, tolerance, patience and physical endurance as well as adding humanitarian values.
