Managing Director of CyberSafety Enterprise, Datuk Dr Salleh Abdullah said the grant was to cover Azhar’s training expenses for this year.
“The training grant amounting to RM21,000 covers a number of things, including monthly allowances, sports equipment repair as well as expenses for participating in tournaments.
“Azhar started training under my guidance since he was 11 years old and looking at his performance, I decided to officially sponsor him starting this year.
“With this sponsorship, I hope to produce a player from the interior of Sabah who will make the country famous one day,” he said.
