Kota Kinabalu: Kinabalu International School has been named the best private school in Kota Kinabalu for 2025, according to global education platform Schoolbell.net.
The annual ranking evaluates private schools in Sabah’s capital based on contextual reputation scores, which measure online credibility, visibility, and trustworthiness.

The list is aimed at helping parents make informed decisions when choosing premium education providers for local and expatriate students.
Jesselton International School was placed second with a score of 99.7, followed by Imperium International Secondary School (98.9), Maktab Nasional (97.5), Sabah Tshung Tsin Secondary School (95.7), Institut Sinaran (93.3), Xceleration Education (90.4), Kota Kinabalu Japanese School (87.0), Yuet Ching Private School (83.0), and La Salle Secondary School (75.0).
