CHESHIRE Home and ALC School Kinarut were beneficiaries of Alumni SM La Salle and Sacred Heart Christmas cum New Year 2026 CSR Works held at the Junior School Canteen on Saturday (Jan 10).

ALC School received RM4,500 in aid of School Building Fund, two baskets of food, sanitary items.

Alumni President, Datuk Ram Singh, presented the two contributions.

“Thanks to their great generosity,” said Dr Kathryn Rivai, ALC School Advisor.

Cheshire Home, which had benefited from a previous Alumni donation, received RM500, two baskets of toiletries and food items, said Alumni Treasurer Rashid Awang Damit. Jennifer Liew, Cheshire Home Warden received the donations.  

Present at the ceremony include Ho Kin Wong, La Salle  School Board of Directors Chairman , School Principal Vijaya Kumar, Datuk Daniel Tan, president of Sacred Heart primary school Board of Directors, ex Alumni presidents Zainal Rivai, Michael Tan, ex teachers from the 1970s  Dr Kathryn River, Yohan Henricks , Simon Lim, Edward Kouju, YC Kan.

The event attracted a crowd of about 200 ex-students who were treated to a sumptuous lunch.
