Without water in Luyang for a month!
Our basic infrastructure is rotten to the core in so many areas. But let’s start with water availability to our homes.
WHAT is wrong with the authorities again? My housing area in Luyang has had no water for a month.

Once in a day or two there is a minimum trickle for a few minutes. Kota Kinabalu is supposedly striving to be a city of worth and yet its basic infrastructure is rock bottom.

How is it that the respective government departments cannot get a basic need like water to its city population?

My family and I will certainly withhold my vote for ruling parties that cannot provide steady and clean water supply. We want water restored!

Not when, but now. I do not want to hear pathetic excuses any more. Get the job done. If the Government and water department cannot restore water we need better people in these organisations who can see to the needs of their citizens.

We also demand our water rates be cut. For the past month we have had no water so that means we are not paying water rates for a month and this should continue until water is restored.

Why can’t Sabah local government and municipal councils be like our neighbouring state where the needs of the people are seen too. I notice there is no word of sincere explanation as to why we have this persistent water cut.

About three weeks ago the authorities did deliver to our houses a few litre water bottles. How do they expect us to have drinking water and water for cleaning and washing for health and hygiene purposes from this supply for a month? Sabah certainly belongs to the 4th world nations or worse at the monent.
