LAHAD DATU: Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah (PHRS) leaders have been urged to strengthen their presence at the grassroots level by maintaining close contact with communities and responding to local needs.
PHRS President Brig-Gen (B) Tan Sri Datuk Liew Yun Fah said community engagement should remain a priority regardless of political positions or election cycles.
Speaking at the 2026 Annual General Meetings of the party’s Segama, Tungku and Silam divisions, Saturday, he encouraged leaders to continue building meaningful relationships with residents in their respective areas.
The meeting was attended by more than 300 party members, including acting deputy president Samsiah Usman, acting secretary-general Mahar Zemi Jamawi and women’s chief Norazian Dumit.
