3,000 bubur lambuk packs for govt agencies

Kota Kinabalu: Yayasan Nur Jauhar (YNJ), together with Adabi Sabah Distribution Sdn Bhd, donated 3,000 packs of lambuk porridge to 30 government agencies recently.
The donation presentation ceremony, held at Istana Seri Kinabalu, Wednesday was officiated by Head of State’s wife, Toh Puan Norlidah Tan Sri R.M Jasni.

Sabah Adabi Company’s General Manager, Muhammad Zahari Nasir, said 3,000 packs of lambuk porridge were distributed to 30 agencies, including government departments such as the Malaysian Broadcasting Department, Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department, City Mosque, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, mosques, madrasahs, and welfare homes.
“We started cooking around 8am, accompanied by staff from various agencies, including the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA), Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) the Royal Malaysian Navy (LMN), City University, and YNJ,” he said in the Lambuk Adabi Porridge Programme in conjunction with the month of Ramadan with Toh Puan.
Earlier, 120 people were involved in preparing 10 pots of lambuk porridge in the morning, which was also joined by Toh Puan Norlidah.
