Kota Kinabalu: Two shop owners were fined a total of RM15,000 by the Sessions Court here for allowing illegal immigrants to stay in their respective premises.
Wong Ka Vui, 26, and Katty Mardeka, 22, who appeared separately before Judge Noor Hafizah Mohd Salim, pleaded guilty to the charges against them.

Wong was found permitting two undocumented Filipinas to be in Kedai Sopi Silver Star in Kolombong, Inanam, on Nov 15, 2023, at 12pm.
Wong was fined RM5,000 or 60 days for each illegal immigrant.
Katty was found to have allowed a Pakistani man at Baz Mini Market in Universiti Utama Square, Telipok, on Jan 30, this year at 9.31pm.
She was fined RM5,000 or 60 days jail.
