He said communities from diverse backgrounds were involved, and the platform served to reinforce the existing unity.

He said that the programme is a new idea and strategy to continue to unify Malaysians through the celebration of togetherness.
“The idea of hosting the Ramadan Jazz is excellent. We will also bring this concept to other areas, including the peninsula,” he said at a press conference after officiating the Ramadan Jazz The Elopura at the Dataran Piazza Harbour Mall, recently.
He said the events featured morning prayers, tazkirah and songs performed by singers and musicians from Sabah and the peninsula, as well as local buskers, contributed to a compelling narrative.
He said the programmes presented by Sabah, particularly Sandakan, are unique in that they include religious teachings and content that has piqued the interest of people from all backgrounds.

The programme was jointly hosted by The Elopura Hotel, the Sabah Islamic Association (Usia), Sabah Islamic Religious Affairs Department (Jheains) and the Municipal Council.
