SANDAKAN: Two 40x40 square feet non-permanent houses were razed in Kampung Tinusa 2, Sandakan, on Tuesday.
The fire also damaged some 20 per cent of an Isuzu D-Max 4x4.

Sandakan Zone Fire and Rescue Department (FRD) Chief Jasri Ab. Jal said they received a call at 11am via the MERS 999 line.
A team of 14 firemen led by Sandakan FRD Station Chief Severinus Sainkui rushed to the location about 12km away and used water sourced from two fire engines and nearby hydrants.
The situation was brought under control by noon and ended at 1.35pm.
No casualties were reported and the cause of the fire and estimated loss are under investigation.
