Kunak office building razed
The Kunak office building fire.
KUNAK: Fire destroyed an office building in the Co-Palm estate at Jalan Tun Fuad, here, on Wednesday.

Kunak Fire and Rescue Station Chief Mohamad Omarbatha said they received an emergency call at 7.07pm via the MERS 999 and a six-member team led by Operation Commander Oma Tome with machinery were deployed to the scene 20km away from the station.

He said the five-door office building was completely destroyed.

“The fire was brought control at 7.35pm and the operation ended at 10.10pm,” he added.

No casualties or injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
