State Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship Minister’s Public Relations Secretary Amos Thien Tze Tin
Kota Kinabalu: The State Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship Minister’s Public Relations Secretary Amos Thien Tze Tin said the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission routinely conducts investigations in response to complaints.
He said this in response to allegations against a senior of the Ministry who was purportedly implicated in the misappropriation of entrepreneurial grants.

“The State Government has taken note of the matter,” said Thien in a statement, Saturday.
“The accusation is deemed baseless and intended to bring down the image of the officer and the State Government indirectly,” he added.
He said the MACC’s presence to conduct an investigation is standard protocol when receiving complaints and that full cooperation has been provided to the MACC in this regard.
“For issues related to Cement Industries Sdn Bhd, MACC has conducted a full investigation and cooperation has been given,” he said, advising the public not to believe and propagate false claims while they are still being investigated.
