Sentiments play vital role in people’s assestment: LDP
“Thus, this matter needs to be seen more seriously where the people also want the local party to lead Sabah with the best sentiments,” Chin said.
SANDAKAN: Sentiments play an important role as an assessment for the people to choose a government they believe in.

LDP President Datuk Chin Su Phin said sentiments are also what has formed governments, including local parties such as PBS and Warisan.

“Now, under GRS, various local parties are also under the same goal, which is to help the people of Sabah.

“Thus, this matter needs to be seen more seriously where the people also want the local party to lead Sabah with the best sentiments,” he said after attending the LDP Chinese New Year Celebration at Kenalanmu Steamboat Restaurant.

Also present were his Deputy, Robert Chong, Max Million Lee who represented Tanjong Papat Assemblyman, Datuk Frankie Poon Ming Fung, President of the Sandakan Municipal Council and other attendees.

He added, in the same regard, it is time for the Sabah government to unite based on the fact that current local parties are united so that Sabah continues to receive due Federal attention.

He said the people also hope that Sabah can emulate Sarawak which is capable of bringing better change for the State.

“LDP always goes down to the grassroots and the people also rely on their hope to have a stable government with good sentiments in the next election,” he said.
