LAHAD DATU: Job seekers, especially the youth, are advised to take advantage of programmes such as the Career Carnival organised by the government through various agencies.
Segama’s Community Development Leaders Unit (UPPM) Chief, Datuk Mizma Appehdullah, said the career carnival not only provides employment opportunities but also exposure to the employment landscape in the country.
ADVERTISEMENT Mizma said individuals who wish to develop their careers could also take the opportunity to meet face-to-face and connect with potential employers.
“The career carnival has enormous benefits and should be fully utilised. Job seekers can also test their communication skills in addition to training for the interview session,” she said.
Mizma said this when officiating at the Lahad Datu Career Carnival at Dewan Tun Haji Mustafa, recently.
In her speech, Mizma also thanked and congratulated the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (KSTI) and Human Resource Development Department (JPSM) for organising the carnival.

“If the job offered today does not meet your requirements, make it an experience to get better job opportunities in the future,” she added.
