Kota Kinabalu: THE State Government assured that the investor companies that signed agreements with the Sabah Oil and Gas Development Corporation (SOGDC) in March this year are capable of developing the Sipitang Oil and Gas Industrial Park (Sogip).Industrial Development Minister Datuk Dr Joachim Gunsalam said SOGDC performed due diligence to the 10 companies who signed two sublease agreements and eight memoranda of understanding to develop Sogip with investments amounting to RM19.8 billion.
“SOGDC has determined that they are indeed capable and they will proceed with their plans to invest in Sogip,” he said during the question and answer session at the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) sitting, Tuesday.
