Salesman crashes Proton into cop's Naza in bid to evade JPJ

Tawau: An attempt to evade the Road Transport Department (JPJ) left a 25-year-old salesman with minor head injury after crashing his Proton Wira into another vehicle at Jalan Utara on Monday.District Police Chief ACP Fadil Marsus said the incident was reported by a JPJ officer who led an operation at the scene when the Wira was stopped. Fadil said the driver, who had no driving license, decided to make a break for it instead of stopping as instructed, causing his vehicle to crash into a Naza Citra driven by a 56-year-old policeman that turned turtle due to the collision.
