Alor Setar: Andre Anura who won the gold and set a new record in the triple jump event at the Sukma Games in Ipoh Wednesday was confident of achieving the feat even before the event started."My aim was to win the gold with a new record and I was very confident I could do it with the training and preparation that I had before the Games. At the Malaysia Open, I recorded a personal best of 15.69m and in training, I also managed to jump 15.95m, with a 10-step run up so with a full 15-step run I was going to apply in Sukma, I knew I could win and set a new record, and I am very happy to achieve it," he said on Wednesday.However, he admitted that it wasn't easy as he was under immense pressure after he committed two foul jumps at the start.
