SANDAKAN: Parti Warisan Elopura Women’s Wing will be organizing a free blood screening program on Sunday, 22 March, starting from 7am at Bandar Kim Fung, Batu 4.
In a statement on Thursday, the organisers said that the program is part of Parti Warisan’s ongoing efforts to engage with the public through a grassroots approach, particularly in the area of public health.
They also expressed hope that the program will serve as a platform to further expand health awareness initiatives at the community level, in line with current societal needs for accessible and comprehensive healthcare services.
In addition, the programme aims to raise public awareness about the importance of regular health screenings and to encourage the practice of a healthy lifestyle among the community.
Early preventive measures are crucial in reducing the risk of disease complications and ensuring long-term well-being.
In this regard, the public, especially residents around Bandar Kim Fung, Batu 4, and nearby areas, are encouraged to attend and take advantage of the services provided.
Active community participation in such programs not only helps in individual health care but also strengthens the spirit of unity within the community.
