Kota Kinabalu: Three donors made history as the inaugural contributors to the Little Princess Trust, United Kingdom via Locks of Hope Association (Malaysia), donating their hair to be transformed into wigs for cancer-stricken patients.
The event dubbed “Locks of Love Project” was held at Kian Kok Secondary School and witnessed by guest of honour District Governor Kapitan Ronny Hiew and members of Lions Club KK Downtown and other chapters.

Faith Charmaine Kennedy (12), Shirley Len (30) and Winnie Len (18) proudly grew their hair to lengths exceeding 12 inches for the noble cause.
Faith is president of Starshine Cubs Club who initiated the move, under the ambit of Lions Club of KK Downtown, while Shirley and Winnie are friends of Lions Club.
