200kg Pelian from Penampang Tagal

PENAMPANG: It was Pelian fish galore for Babagon Riverside village when the “River Tagal” fishing prohibition was lifted for one day in a year on Saturday.
Fish harvesting in the river using pukat nets was mostly carried out by males, with all the catch collected equally distributed to all village households.
Tagal Chairman Gidius Gonsuin said the total haul this year was 200kg, which is about the same as the last few years.
